Project was assigned in AUGUST, which means you have had NINE months to complete it. In other words, if you had gotten pregnant the same day as when this project was assigned, you would have had as much time to GROW A HUMAN BEING as you did to do this assignment. (Of course, if your C.A.R. topic was teenage pregnancy... wow!... talk about authentic experimentation!) Failure to complete this project - or to submit it on time - will result in you earning an INCOMPLETE for the 2nd Semester and Year Long grades. GET. IT. DONE.

Week #18: December 9-13, 2013
Monday, December 9th:
* Well I'll be a son-of-a-gun... the Spartans pulled it off. And it appears as though ol' MSU gained some bandwagon fans Saturday night (but how scared/mad were you when they blew that 17-0 lead and were down 24-17?!). Per Dr. Hartnell's promise, your Unit #3 Blue Book will NOT be today. And, because he's in a great mood, the deal just got sweeter. The Unit #3 Blue Book is not only take-home... it's OPTIONAL! That's right... if you're happy with your current grade, you don't have to submit a Blue Book at all. If you elect to do this, your Blue Book score will be appear in Power School as "Exempt" and neither help nor harm your grade. If you decide to roll the dice and attempt the take-home exam, you will need to select a question, write your answer in a Blue Book, and submit it at the start of your class THIS Wednesday. This test will then be graded like any standard Blue Book... meaning you aren't guaranteed to waltz out of there with an "A+". As such, please think through your decision. If you've studied hard and completed outlines and practice essays, then you should score well. If you've done little in the way of preparing for this unit's Blue Book... then you should personally thank Sparty the next time you see him.
* Hand out Study Guide for District-mandated End of Course Assessment (EOCA). Additional copies of the EOCA Study Guide can be downloaded by clicking here.
