A Sample C.A.R. Project


The following is a sample Collaborative Action Research (C.A.R.) project that was conducted during the 2013-2014 school year. It was researched, written, and completed by Abby Bouton and Hailee Sens, two Freshmen students in Dr. Hartnell's Honors' American History class. They chose to look into the new Common Core math curriculum. Without a doubt, it is a glowing example of what doing action research (and being action researchers) is all about.
